Everybody had high expectations on the RPQ event last Dinagyang. The event was a flop. Drinks came in late, not everybody was charged with door entrance (quite unfair to those who paid 800php), music was just blah, VIPs were not treated as VIPs and everybody was just disappointed. There was even a time where the emcee was asking “Iloilo, are you having fun?” And the crowd answered “No.” The event was too overpriced yet the organizers didn’t organize it well. They should have made sure everything was already prepared the night before. Oh well, good thing I was with good company that night so we still rocked the night away and had an awesome night despite the flop event.
